About the author:

After graduating from graphics design studies, he has been engaged in professional photography for several years, constantly finding ways to immortalize simple, often everyday things in his works. In addition to photography and design work, in 2016 the author started the journey of his paintings.

The blank canvas transforms into a limitless space where stroke after stroke and line after line are added, in search of the right texture or shape to best convey the conceived thought. If not a brush, then autumn leaves, delicate rose petals, or objects often serving a different purpose become tools in the hands of the artist. This is how exceptional works are created.

The creative process of each piece of work can take several months to a year or more. In 2022, the first solo exhibition of paintings by Vidmantas Samuolis was held in Vilnius. The author's works were warmly received during the exhibition, and soon after, a significant number of pieces found new homes in Lithuania and around the world.
